My name is Ronalie, and my husband Andrew and I live on a secluded 50 acre property 3 hours north of Brisbane in the sunny state of Queensland, Australia where we breed Hungarian Vizslas and Bracco Italianos.
While we remain devoted to the Hungarian Vizsla with their wonderful traits and fantastic and loveable natures, and the breed continues to to be our primary breed (please check out our Vizsla website – www.habanerovizslas.com), a few years back we fell in love with the Bracco Italiano.
There were very few dogs in Australia at that time and a litter had recently been bred by the Mirtos of HiPoint Kennels in New South Wales. After visiting the litter to see the puppies we decided to import a girl from Italy.
Having done much research on the internet I made contact with Maurizio Sodini from the well known kennel Polcevera’s. That research culminated in the importation of our wonderful Astrid. Read more about Astrid on her page.
Our dogs live in the home with us and have the free run of about 4 acres of fenced home paddock. They enjoy our daily runs and swims in our two dams and love our regular visits to Rainbow Beach for swimming in the surf and running on the sand. They are very much part and parcel of our family, and our Bracco Astrid fits in perfectly with our Vizslas.
Good health and an excellent temperament are of foremost importance to us in our breeding programme. We always try to set standards of excellence that will ensure the breed is enhanced, and that our Vizslas and Braccos are sought after in Australia and around the world.
